Japanese phonetic translator updated

There are several updates in kanji to romaji translator:

  • Now it's copy-paste friendly. It took me some time to figure out how to do that. It was crucial to keep the information about the pitch accent position in Japanese words during copy-pasting of the transcription.
  • If a word has multiple pronunciation variants, all of them will be displayed, the most frequent – first. Be careful – the algorithm is not perfect – some of the variants are not correct.
  • The Japanese words required for JLPT-test are now highlighted in different colors.
  • I added the generator for handwriting worksheets. You can choose one of three different fonts to practice writing Japanese characters.

And as a reminder – recently I released phonetic converter for Japanese subtitles. Now you can insert phonetic transcription into subtitles for your favorite Japanese movie or dorama!
