I am still thinking about what to include in the upcoming English pronunciation course and which set of IPA symbols to use. There’s a lot of discrepancies in different sources.
So yesterday I bought this book called “Fundamentals of Phonetics” 4th edition by Larry H. Small.
Boy, was it expensive, but I didn’t regret a single moment.
It’s for American English, and it explains everything so well!
Now I don’t have any doubts. 🙂
During the next days I will be updating the algorithm of the phonetic converter for American English and will also create an IPA chart for English.
I look forward to introducing this new feature as another useful pronunciation tool for all those out there struggling to master a new language.
