Several years ago we created a computer software called Pronunciation Player to help people practice pronunciation. The software is written in Java and unfortunately has some compatibility issues.
In order to solve this problem we decided to recreate the main functionality of Pronunciation Player on our website. This way people can practice their pronunciation online on any device as long as they have Internet access.
One functionality of Pronunciation Player is the ability to practice the proonunciation of real life basic phrases. And today we recreated this functionality online as well:
On the above pages you will find common phrases that are used frequently in everyday life. For each phrase you will find audio and video recordings of a native speaker pronouncing this phrase and phonetic transcription. You can practice each phrase with normal and slow-speed recordings.
