Website database optimized
During the last few days we’ve been working hard on optimizing the structure of our database. It contains more than 150 tables with some of them with more than 1,000,000 records. Now the loading time should be faster, especially during the peak hours. We hope everyone got good holidays. 🙂

We updated our database with phonetic transcriptions of British English words. That includes approximately 30,000 most frequently used English words. The number of audio recordings of individual French words on our website reached 20,000 audios (37,600 words). That includes almost 2,000 proper nouns, such as geographical names or peoples names.
